" great post.. what we need to do, since there are alot of just "faded" members of the j.w.
organization here with us is this... next year, all you just faded ones, (the ones not disfellowshipped or disassociated) go to the memorial and "drink the wine and eat the unleavened bread"... .. brilliant isnt it.

The Governing body are murderers

or do you think that statement is just an "emotional outcry" by some unbalanced apostate?
and even if it was an emotional outcry, does that mean its wrong?.

Well, here's my story
by ignorance is strength inwell here's my story:.
i was born into a jw family, my father having been converted and not really much of a believer and my mother being born into it .
my mother's family first became involved with jw's when my great grandmother was converted from, i think, catholicism (i'm only saying that b/c she was irish).

An Important Question for JW's, they can't answer ??? what happened ???
by run dont walk infor the sake of argument, lets say that revelation was completed (writing) in 96 ad.in fact, their book jehovah's witnesses in the divine purpose asserts that "jehovah's witnesses have a history almost 6,000 years long, beginning while the first man, adam, was still alive," that adam's son abel was "the first of an unbroken line of witnesses," and that "jesus' disciples were all jehovah's witnesses [sic] too.
" (pp.
so, after reading the above text, here's my question ............... .

Class Distinction Within The JW Community?
by Latin assassin from Manhattan inhas anyone noticed that jws who appear to be higher up on the 'socio-economic' ladder get special treatment at the kh?
no matter how many khs i've visited, i've noticed that jws who are not well off socially/financially/physically are treated with less respect/dignity than those with a business of their own, or just a higher quality of life.
i've been to many 'gatherings' where jws filter themselves out according to race or socio-economic standing.

Can You Believe Bible Prophecy?
by Blueblades in.
many believe that between a fourth and a third of the bible concerns prophecy.. many believe that history shows that god's unerring prophecies of the kingdoms and empires of,egypt, isreal, judah, babylon, persia, greece and rome all came to pass in minute detail.. if his prophecies came true in centuries past, can you----should you-----believe in bible prophecy today?.
btw.we are not talking about the society but the many other religious teachers and scholars who swear by the fulfillment of bible prophecy.. blueblades

How to Study the Bible
by Yizuman inhow to study the bible
since the bible was written a long time ago, many of the cultural references and literary styles used are unfamiliar to us today.
to truly understand the bible, we need to understand the background of life and literature 2000 to 3000 years ago as the bible was being written.
